The Complete List of ingredients for Circulin:

Hawthorn (Crataegus species, Crataegus oxyacantha) - This plant is generally found throughout Britain and Europe. C. monogyna contains one seed, C. oxycanthoides contains two. The latter name is derived from the Greek 'kratos' (hardness) describing the wood, 'oxus' (sharp) describing the thorns and 'akantha' (a thorn). The wood makes a very good, hot fire and is also used for making small articles. The German name for the plant, Hagedorn, means Hedgethorn and shows that plots of land were divided by hedges made up of Hawthorn very early on.Hawthorn has been shown to be an effective herb for the following symptomology: cardiac insufficiency NYHA I and II, breathing difficulties, increased heart and pulse rate, pains in the chest (stabbing), weak heart, palpitation, arrhythmia. It pharmaceutical action is defined by the content of oligomeric procyanidins and/or flavonoids: macerates, fresh plant extract) and with individual fractions (oligomeric procyanidins, biogenic amines). The flavonoids of Hawthorn exhibit very strong "vitamin P" activity, (increasing intracellular vitamin C levels and while decreasing capillary permeability and fragility. Hawthorn extracts also improve energy production within the heart, increasing oxygen and blood while enhancing heart metabolism, the net result being an increase in the force of contraction, improving the efficiency of the heart as a "pump." This is particularly beneficial in cases of congestive heart failure and various rhythm disturbances. The berries and flowers of Hawthorn are effective in reducing blood pressure (by dilating the larger blood vessels, the procyanidins in Hawthorn inhibit angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) which converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a potent constrictor of blood vessels - preventing this conversion leads to more relaxed blood vessels and lower blood pressure) and reducing angina attacks, as well as in lowering serum cholesterol levels. Scientists have determined that Hawthorn extracts can also help prevent atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) by reducing cholesterol levels and decreasing the size of atherosclerotic plaques. Moreover, research indicates that the flavonoids in Hawthorn strengthen connective tissue structures in artery walls. The effects of Hawthorn supplementation is generally apparent within two weeks, even earlier with products, such as in Vxa's cardiovascular line, which combine Hawthorn standardized extract with other ingredients which are known to enhance the effectiveness of Hawthorn and its activity. In general, the phytomedicinal ingredients within Hawthorn yield positive inotropic effect, positive dromotropic effect, negative bathmotropic effect, increased coronary and myocardial circulatory perfusion, reduction in peripheral vascular resistance.

Allium ursinum (Bear's Garlic, Ramsons) - A wild growing plant along the sides of streams, and in damp forests, excellent for lowering blood pressure as well as making veins and arteries flexible and more elastic again. Used commonly with Mistletoe and Hawthorn for those very reasons. Bear's garlic has been historically to help in the prevention of stroke and paralysis, and has been used effectively after a stroke has occurred, helping to restore one to health again. Also, because of its considerable sulfur content, it has proven useful in intestinal flatulence, chronic intestinal catarrh, where the lining of the stomach and intestines has become very sensitive.

Isoleucine (L-Isoleucine) - This is an essential amino acid, one of the three critically important amino acids known as the Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA). BCAA's make up about 50% of the indispensable amino acids in the daily food supply. BCAA's are rather unique in that skeletal muscles may directly use them as an energy source. This is an anabolic substance which promotes protein synthesis. BCAA's are used up more rapidly in stressful conditions than other amino acids.Isoleucine is generally found to be deficient in chronically sick individuals. It is nutritionally useful in the formation of hemoglobin and is particularly important too in building the body's tolerance for stress. In fact, in experimental situations, deficiency of isoleucine resulted in the occurrence of marked tremors and the twitching of the muscles of the extremities in controlled studies.

Leucine (L-Leucine) - Leucine, or L-leucine in its natural form, is an essential amino acid. It is one of the three amino acids which are called the branched chain amino acids (BCAAs). BCAAs make up about 50% of the indispensable amino acids in the daily food supply. BCAAs are rather unique in that skeletal muscles may directly use them as an energy source. BCAAs are used up more rapidly in stressful conditions than other amino acids.Furthermore, research has suggested that the supplementation of BCAAs, especially leucine, can nutritionally aid the body in enlivening the liver, especially after extended periods of alcohol abuse or other drug related damage. Leucine is an anabolic substance which promotes the body's building-up of materials, accelerating protein synthesis. Leucine is a major nutritional metabolic regulator and is the only amino acid that can substitute for glucose in the fasting animal. It is an alternative energy source for the body, and the most able to help the body maintain blood sugar levels. Leucine is also thought to be a nutritional precursor to the naturally occurring, hurt-relieving chemicals in our body called leucine-enkephalins.

Valine (L-Valine) - Valine in its "L-" form, L-Valine, is an essential amino acid. It is one of the three amino acids which are called the branched chain amino acids (BCAA). BCAA's make up about 50% of the indispensable amino acids in the daily food supply.BCAA's are rather unique in that skeletal muscles may directly use them as an energy source as they are an anabolic substance which promotes protein synthesis. BCAA's are used up in stressful conditions more rapidly than other amino acids. In controlled research experiments at the Brain-Bio Center in Princeton, New Jersey and elsewhere, removal of valine from the diet was thought to result in some noticeable but reversible changes to the red nuclei of the brain and the chief protein synthesizing machinery of the cells of the body. Deficiency of this and other amino acids causes the malabsorption of dietary nitrogen and protein. Valine is believed vital for mental function, muscle coordination and neural functioning.

Magnesium Gluconate

MaxEPA

Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) - GLA, an essential fatty acid, Omega--6, is a component of the cell membrane that increases permeability and flexibility of cell membranes and helps regulate water loss, thus helping to prevent dehydration and other visible signs of premature aging. It is also involved with the entire cardiovascular and endocrine system balance. Also essential in the production of eicosanoids throughout the body.

GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) - GABA (g-aminobutyric acid), one of the major inhibitory Amino Acid neurotransmitters of the central nervous system, is known to be an active a1- & a2-adrenergic antagonist, helping the body to relax the smooth muscle of arteries and veins. It acts via the GABA-A and GABA-B cell receptors to prevent neuronal depolarization and firing of an action potential occurring in muscles, stopping the muscle from contracting. An action potential is a rapid, transient, self-propagating electrical excitation of the membrane of electrically excitable cells, also known as a spike or nerve impulse (in neurons). Action potentials occur in nerve, muscle, and neuroendocrine cells and are generated and propagated through the actions of voltage-gated ion channels. An action potential is essentially a brief (approx. 1 ms long), regenerative change in the membrane potential which occurs in electrically excitable cells such as the smooth muscle in veins and arteries. Action potentials are essentially digital signals which encode information as a temporal sequence. With GABA, G-protein coupled receptor sites (the largest superfamily of cell-surface receptors) are competed for in smooth muscle, ensuring that smooth muscle of arteries and veins relaxes, and that action potentials do not fire. As the smooth muscle relaxes, arteries and veins begin to vasodilate, increasing their circumference, allowing more blood to flow which subsequently reduces blood pressure throughout the circulatory system.GABA, a quasi-amino acid, is thought to be one of the most powerful inhibitory neurotransmitters in the central nervous system operating as a chemical messenger to its neighbors. GABA is important in helping the body to naturally regulate nerve function and enhance the ability of vitamin B3 (niacin) to act. This is an amino acid which can be derived from yet another amino acid, glutamic acid. GABA, one of the so called three musketeers (GABA, Glutamine [GAM] and Glutamic acid [GA]), is believed to be capable of providing needed nutrition and energy for the brain.GABA has generally been found to be deficient in clinical and experimental seizure disorders and is the most widely distributed inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain. GABA is helpful in bringing calmness to the body, promoting tranquility and peace in times of stress and anxiety. It is also a known precursor to another important neurotransmitter, gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), which is a natural sleep inducing compound in the brain, encouraging the body to produce its own native tryptophan, which in turn is the natural precursor to the sleep neurotransmitter, serotonin.

Phenylalanine (L-Phenylalanine, DL-Phenylalanine,) - Phenylalanine, or L-Phenylalanine in its natural form, is an essential amino acid of tremendous nutritional importance, although often found low in the blood serum levels of vegetarians. It is a known nutritional precursor or forerunner of the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine (noradrenaline) and epinephrine (adrenaline) which latter substances control or affect heart rate and output, blood pressure, oxygen consumption, blood sugar levels, fat metabolism and other brain functions.Interestingly, "Phenylpropanolamine" (a substance which attempts to mirror some of the activities of phenylalanine) is a synthetic substance used to promote the release of CCK (cholescystokinin) in the stomach, a "satiation" hormone which naturally induces satiety, transmitting its chemical message to the brain, signaling the body that it should stop eating. Phenylalanine is reported to have similar attributes that may nutritionally decrease one's appetite naturally, having the same causes of the synthetic substance above.DL-Phenylalanine is also involved in the release of PEA, phenylethylamine, a neurotransmitter closely related to norepinephrine, and which can sensitize endorphin receptors to endorphins, and aids in the relief of depression and the regulation of mood. PEA, by itself, can increase the manufacturing of norepinephrine in the brain, a natural pick-me-up. Research has shown that most deprressed individuals have low levels of PEA, and that most antidepressant drugs raise PEA levels. The "D-" form of phenylalanine nutritionally inhibits the production of enzymes which defeat the naturally occurring "opiates" of the body, the endorphins and enkephalins, those naturally occurring "pain-relievers" that the body produces when faced with neurochemical messages of discomfort.More specifically, supplementation of the "D-" form of phenylalanine appears to lengthen the biochemical life of these naturally occurring substances by inhibiting enkephalinase, and endorphinases, the enzymes that breaks down our naturally occurring pain relievers, allowing the body to naturally "remove" itself from pain for longer periods of time. Interestingly, the body's natural pain relievers, the endorphins and enkephalins, are known to be some 400 times more powerful than morphine in their concentrated strength. The combined D- and L- forms of phenylalanine, known as DL-Phenylalanine, are used supplementally to simply complement the body's natural ability to relieve discomfort, while also ensuring that enough of the "L-" form has been supplied. Both D- and L- forms are naturally occurring in nature.

Asparagine (L-Asparagine, Asn, Asx) - Asparagine in its natural "L-" form, or L-Asparagine, Mol. Wt. 132, is an amino acid which is generally synthesized from aspartic acid and ATP, involved with energy cycles in the body, linking the Urea and the Krebs cycle together, and can provide the brain with energy as well.

Niacinamide-B3 - A critical vitamin for anti-stress, helping the body in general healing. It also assists in the functioning of the nervous system; in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins; and in the production of hydrochloric acid for the digestive system. This vitamin aids the body in maintaining normal skin function as well, releasing trapped sebum which can cause skin problems, and helps protect against pollutants and toxins that are known to cause early signs of aging.

Veratrum viride (American False Hellebore,) - Indian Perennial herb grown in the Eastern North America. The powdered dried roots and rhizome used as an insecticide. Medicinal properties were known by the Indians as it was used as a cardiovascular and nerve sedative, slowing the heart and lowering blood pressure. The alkaloids include jervine, pseudojervine, germerin and veratroidine. In China (Veratrum nigra) is used as an evacuant, and vermifuge and emetic, prescribed for bronchitis, convulsions, dyspepsia and sore throat.

Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica, Hydrocotyle asiatica) - This herb dates back to India where it enjoyed a reputation of being a plant which promoted longevity, and has some historical significance too, in that it has been used by religious organizations which claim that it heightens spiritual powers. More practically, their leaves are known to have a marked nutritionally energizing effect on the brain without increasing stress. Often confused with the kola nut, it is not related; nor does Gotu Kola contain any caffeine. In fact, its properties are said to allow a brightness of the spirit while bestowing a calming influence at the same time. It contains a natural soothing agent believed to stimulate the energy levels within the body without raising stress levels. This legendary herb is also considered a "tonic," a natural water eliminator, stimulating the body to release stored water masses. Several studies have shown that Centella aids in the development of strong connective tissue, actually stimulating the production of compounds which make up the "ground substance" where collagen fibers are embedded. Centella has also demonstrated some enhancement of the venous flow into the lower limbs, aiding in some improvement of varicose veins. The extract's effect on cellulite appears to be linked to this latter capacity for its ability to promote connective tissue structure and reduce sclerosis of target areas (hardening).

Radix heraclei - This select Chinese herb has been used for centuries to reduce unwanted internal pressure, relieve stress and provide for balance while comforting the system. Often used by herbalists to release tension which is often inappropriately trapped and subsequently creating body and emotional rigidness. Useful as well for the soothing of over-activity in children.

Fructus sophorae - This particular herb has been used traditionally for stress and nervous agitation as well as possessing balancing qualities. Its calming influence is thought to balance energy pathways within the body and curb possible erratic messaging between body centers as well as increasing the threshold for sensation and reactivity, thus diminishing the confusion and demands of overwhelming external provocation.

Radix rehmanniae - This Chinese herb is known by herbal traditionalists to be used at times of stress and anxiety. It is thought to fortify the liver, enhance the function of the body's purifying system while also enhancing the blood and increasing circulation.

Calcarea carbonica (Calcium Carbonate, tincture of) - Used as a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional (mineral). (Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine). As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional, it has demonstrated effectiveness against the following symptomology: colds, flu, full pulse with fever, excessive cold, nocturnal sweat, chiefly on the chest, inflammation of nose, swelling, ulcerated and scabby nostrils, aching eyes, burning eyes, sore throat, constricted, accumulation of mucus in the mouth, pains in the abdomen, tension and swelling, inflation, constipation, too frequent emission of urine, obstructed breathing, wheezing respiration, palpitation of the heart with anxieties and trembling movements, contractions in the region of the heart, cramping in the upper and lower limbs, muscle spasms and unrest.

B-5 (Vitamin B5-Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin B5, Vit.) - This vitamin, also important in protecting the body against stress, aids the body in the release of energy from food. Vitamin B-5, when used in conjunction with vitamin B-6 and vitamin C, assists the body in the relief of a runny and stuffed-up nose.Of external benefit, this vitamin is commonly used in shampoos and conditioners because it's believed to thicken and repair damaged hair. When utilized with PABA, folic acid and L-Cysteine, it may help restore color to gray hair.

Kali bromatum (potassium bromide) - Used as a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional (mineral preparation). (Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine). As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional, it has demonstrated effectiveness against the following symptomology: general failure of mental power, loss of memory; -profound melancholic delusion; -must be doing something-move about; gets fidgety; -amnesic aphasia: can pronounce any word told but cannot speak otherwise; -fidgety hands; busy twitching of fingers; jerking and twitching of muscles; -restless sleep; grinding of teeth in sleep (Boericke) -declining memory; speech disorders, omits words and syllables, accompanied by restlessness, always busy and occupied, hands tremble, restless, nervous (Reckeweg). As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional, it has also demonstrated effectiveness against the following depressive symptomology: mentally dull, torpid; perception slow, answers slowly; -fearful, apprehensive mood; fears to be alone; frightful imaginings especially at night; -all sorts of fearful delusion: thinks they are pursued, will be poisoned, is selected for Divine vengeance, etc.; -fits of uncontrollable weeping and profound melancholic delusions; profound melancholic depression with religious delusions or feeling of moral deficiency; -depressed, low-spirited, has nervous anxiety (Clarke)

Pyridoxine HCL-B6 - This is a vitamin that aids the body in the metabolism of protein and fat by participating actively in many chemical reactions (more than a 100 enzyme reactions) of protein and amino acid synthesis and degradation. It also helps with normal brain function, and the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B-6 may help maintain chemical balance among body fluids while promoting healthy eyes, tongue and nervous system. Vitamin B-6 is thought to be especially helpful in aiding the body in preventing cracks at mouth corners, skin breakouts, and other stress-related skin problems. The lack of B6 will reduce the formation of niacin from tryptophan and can cause homocysteinuria and oxaluria that may have serious consequences. Indeed, B6 deficiency results in an increased formation of stones (calcium oxalate) in the kidneys and/or throughout the urinary tract system and the retention of homocystine in the blood, contributing to the development of atherosclerosis (cardiovascular disease). Results of a recent meta-analysis in Oxford, England at the Radcliffe Infirmary demonstrated that Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid (and to a lesser extend Vitamin B6, whose presence is necessary to convert homocysteine to the amino acid L-cysteine) were necessary vitamins involved in the body's cleansing process called methylation, wherein dangerous homocysteine levels are reduced. Lowering homocysteine levels has indicated a reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease by as much as 30%-40% (BMJ, 316(7135):894-898, March1998).

OptiZinc (zincmonomethione) - An antioxidant made by the InterHealth Co. in California, the same company that makes ChromeMate & ActiVin. OptiZinc has demonstrated synergistic effects with other antioxidants, far surpassing the abilities of common vitamin antioxidants such as vitamin A, E, and C. The antioxidant power of OptiZinc has been confirmed in multiple university-based studies. It also helps glutathione reserves in the body, as well as possibly reduce homocysteine levels because of its molecular configuration.

Valeriana officinalis (Valerianaceae, Valerian, He) - The name of this herb is derived from the Latin valere, "to be in health," and is an ancient "medicinal herb" which was of certain popularity. It was found in the medicine bags of Canadian Indians, the Iroquois, and was purportedly used as a wound cleanser. This herb was used among the Nordic, the Persians and the Chinese as well. The only thing "bad" about the plant is its odor, which brings to mind the smell of stale perspiration, although cats are apparently quite attracted to it, and the perfume industry uses its strange muskiness in some of its concoctions. Funny enough, its old name V. phu is the likely origin of our colloquial expression for an "undesirable scent."Valerian returned to some prominence and popularity medicinally during the first World War, being used to treat shell shock and nervous stress in army hospitals. It is still effective when taken internally, the root acting to soothe a person's stress, relieving sleeplessness, calming the body and emotional distress, and tiredness and exhaustion. Most recently it has demonstrated sedative, sleep promoting actions, being useful for general nervousness and restlessness, insomnia and sleeping disorders based on nervous conditions. Active substances are thought to be essential oils and mono and sesquiterpenes.

Cobalamin-B12

B-9 (Vitamin B9, Vit.B9, Folic Acid, Folacin, Fala) - This is a vitamin necessary to promote normal red blood cell formation. It is thought to be an important catalyst aiding in the maintenance of the nervous system, the health of the intestinal tract and genitals and related organs, white blood cells, and normal patterns of growth. In 1981, it was conclusively demonstrated that folic acid supplementation could prevent more than half of the cases of spina-bifida and other neural tube defects. The FDA has finally announced that folic acid is essential to the diet and especially necessary within the diets of pregnant women, now recommending 400 mcg per day to reduce the risk of neural tube deficits and birth disorders. Recently, research has demonstrated that elevated levels of folic acid (800 mcg: twice that of the USRDI's) helps prevent heart attacks by reducing homocysteine levels. However, in yet other studies, lower levels of folic acid (200 mcg - 400mcg daily) along with other B vitamins appear to decrease levels of homocysteine production, and lower levels of these amount do not interfere with homocysteine's natural degradation as some have postulated, since if homocysteine is not immediately converted to methionine or thereafter removed properly from the system, heart attacks become significantly more likely. In any case, low dose Folic Acid (200 mcg - 400 mcg) intake appears to be just as effective than higher dosages (800 mcg). When used with vitamin B-5 and PABA, vitamin B-9 may help in the delay of hair graying and promote healthy skin (unproven). The rather obtuse idea that Vitamin B9 could mask a vitamin B12 deficiency is now considered a misnomer, as the criticism was originally based on a reference to a study in 1947 before B12 was properly isolated. Folic Acid is not only safe, it is essential for healthy life. Results of a recent meta-analysis in Oxford, England at the Radcliffe Infirmary demonstrated that Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid (and to lesser extend by Vitamin B6, whose presence is necessary to convert homocysteine to the amino acid L-cysteine) were necessary vitamins involved in the body's cleansing process called methylation, wherein dangerous homocysteine levels are reduced. Lowering homocysteine levels has been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, for as much as 30%-40%. Folic acid can be increased to .5 mg up to 5 mg with adequate amounts of B12 (1mg.) for these purposes. (BMJ, 316(7135):894-898, March1998)

Chromium (ChromeMate GTF, Chromium polynicotinate) - This is a very important mineral which works with vitamin B3 (niacinamide) in maintaining blood sugar levels. It is a true Glucose Tolerance Factor and has recently been given a US Patent because of this singular nutritional importance, plus two more because of its ability to lower cholesterol.Only one such Chromium product actually satisfies all of Dr. Mertz's laws to be established as a true GTF, and ChromeMate is that Chromium source. In such form, chromium is known to activate enzymes for carbohydrates, fat, and protein metabolism. Chromium is also thought to aid the body in improving its circulation for healthy skin and hair.

Artery - Used as a Micro-Nutritional Homeopathic potency (animal). (Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine). As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional, it has demonstrated effectiveness against the following symptomology: arterial hypertension (Tetau)

Vein - Used as a Micro-Nutritional Homeopathic potency (animal). (Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine). As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional, it has demonstrated effectiveness against the following symptomology: organotropic to integrity of venous system (Tetau)

Adrenalinum (epinephrine) - Arnica latifolia (Arnica montana, Arnica Extract, This botanical is a wonderful soothing application for wounds and bruises, aiding the body's natural abilities to provide temporary relief from joint pain, and of sensitive skin (when skin is not broken) as well. Especially when applied topically, arnica preparations have antiphlogistic activity. In cases of inflammation, arnica preparations also show analgesic and antiseptic activity. For external use in injury and for consequences of accidents, e.g. hematoma, dislocations, contusions, oedema due to fracture, rheumatic muscle and joint problems. Also shown effective with inflammation of the oral and throat region, furunculosis, inflammation caused by insect bites, phlebitis. Prolonged treatment with large amounts of arnica to damaged skin, e.g., use for injuries or ulcus cruris (indolent leg ulcers), can cause edematous dermatitis with the formation of pustules. Improper use can also give rise to eczema. In treatment involving higher concentrations of the herb, primary toxic skin reactions with formation of vesicles or even necroses may occur. It is also thought useful for the hair, claimed by some to actually induce growth (unproven), and historically thought to promote the beard in young men! It is suggested for use on pimples and blemishes, as it is thought to be a natural cleanser, and when applied topically, it is generally a good balm for the skin. Active substances include astragalan, chorogenic acid, cymarin, essential oils, ester derivates of helenalin, ferulic acid, ispquercitin, thymol and others. Also used as a Homeopathic medicine (botanical) (Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine). As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional, it has demonstrated effectiveness against the following symptomology: "Is our great vulnerary and it is a well-established one in Homeopathy. It suits injuries to soft parts such as accompany fractures, dislocations, bruises, ecchymoses...Dr. Grauvogle recommended doses before and after every operation whether in the domain of surgery, ophthalmology or obstetrics. Indeed its value in obstetrical practice is hardly to be estimated: if given before and after delivery it will almost infallibly prevent puerperal fever. It has great power of delaying and preventing suppuration and it is of special use after operations around the eyes, particularly after cataract operations. It prevents extension and mortification of carbuncle. It is of use in injuries of long standing. It prevents pyemia. In concussion of the brain or spinal cord, in wrenches of the muscles and hemorrhages from injuries it is our most useful remedy. It should also be given after fractures where the limbs start (ie, twitch or jump) continually, as it corresponds to the sensitiveness..." -"It is a remedy to prevent threatened apoplexy (CVA; 'stroke') ...apoplexy due to external violence calls for Arnica: it should be administered after acute symptoms have subsided to promote absorption of the clot...Dr. William Butler believes that we have in Arnica a sheet anchor for dissolving blood clots-in our own hands it has worked most favorably in a number of cases." (Dewey). As a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional, it has also demonstrated effectiveness against the following digestive symptomology: atony of the stomach, painful contractions, fullness after eating (Dewey) -pain in stomach during eating; repletion with loathing; -oppressive gases pass upward and downward; -pressure in stomach as from a stone; -feeling as if stomach were pressing against spine (Boericke); apoplexy (stroke) with red, full face; -thrombosis; -chronic vertigo, objects whirl about especially when walking; -angina pectoris; stitches in heart; fatty heart and hypertrophy; -heat and redness of head with coolness of rest of body; internal heat, feet and hands cold (Boericke); "Often, attacks of apoplexy can be prevented by restoring the circulation to its equilibrium by means of such remedies as... Arnica... (Dewey). A safe and effective Homeopathic medicine or potency which has been derived from epinephrine (sarcode adrenal derivative & synthetic). (Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine). Used effectively for the following symptoms: sense of thoracic constriction with difficult respiration; -acute lung congestion; -asthma; -hay fever; -serum rashes; -urticaria; -congestion of ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses (Boericke); "The main action of adrenalinum is stimulation of the sympathetic nerve endings." (Boericke) -autonomic dystonia; -states of exhaustion; -Addison's disease; adrenal exhaustion (Reckeweg). "The main action of adrenalin is stimulation of the sympathetic endings, notably the splanchnic area, causing constriction of the peripheral arterioles, with resulting rise in blood pressure." (Boericke) -"This remedy has been used successfully by Dr. Joussey in high arterial blood pressure and in arteriosclerosis; the most favorable results have been produced; roaring in the ears due to high blood pressure is often benefited by this remedy." (Dewey).

Asterias rubens (Red Starfish) - Used as a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional (animal extract). (Homeopathic potencies accredit their strength and efficacy to the electromagnetic signatures of the original substrate; these are scientifically created dilutions and succussions of medicines such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the medicine). Ginkgo Biloba (Ginkgo Biloba Extract, Ginkgoaceae,) - Although this is a common tree in Asia, and now used ornamentally in American suburbs, it was not known in the West until the 17th century. The secret of its believed powers lies in its leaves, as was first discovered by the Chinese some 5,000 years ago and later confirmed by western science. Quite interestingly is the fact that the Ginkgo Biloba tree is the longest surviving tree on earth, its genus being over 200 million years old, and an individual tree may live to be 1000 years old. Towering over 100 feet in the air and having a diameter of 4 feet, many have called this magisterial tree the "tree of life."Historically, it is known to reduce feverish body warmth, provide brain nutrients which possibly aid in memory processing and mental clarity while preserving function in the elderly, possibly because of its powerful antioxidant activity, and providing resistance against deterioration by increasing nutritional supplies to the important energy centers within the body. It is said to have particular properties which may help and complement the body's natural ability to strengthen the cardiovascular system, neutralize free radical damage, aid in the elimination of toxins and wastes, and prevent water retention in delicate tissue areas, reduce common annoyances associated with breathing while protecting the delicate areas within our bodies that help us take up oxygen, while promoting the oxygenation of the cells as well. This herb/tree is now the most popular in all of China and Europe.Science has finally discovered why the Ginkgo Biloba tree has been so useful throughout the ages. It's been found that the tree actually produces a series of natural flavonoids which may aid in the body's ability to heal itself and decrease unwanted disruption. Also included within the components of Ginkgo are isorhamnetin, proanthocyanidins (powerful antioxidants), terpenes, carotenoids and superoxide dismutase (SOD, yet another powerful antioxidant), increasing its cerebro-protective effects and the efficiencies of brain energy metabolism while elevating pyruvate and lowering lactate concentrations. Ginkgo also exhibits remarkable neurotransmitter modulating activity, and can therefore be effective in counteracting aging of the brain and may even be useful for preventing and treating senility, Alzheimer's/dementia, depression, memory loss, tinnitus, arterial insufficiency in the limbs, all of which grow more threatening every day we age.The Ginkgo tree quite amazingly produces rare substances called Ginkgolides, substances which science has discovered prevent the inappropriate clotting of blood. Ginkgolides interfere with the ability of the blood platelets to prematurely start the clotting process known as the platelet activating factor, or PAT for short. It is this same clotting factor that is known to be one of the components which prematurely and wrongly triggers allergic inflammation and toxic shock in immune dysfunction. Ginkgolides also are thought to aid the body's inhibition of the defense system. The Ginkgolides are reportedly known to inhibit this reaction effectively, as was reported in the prestigious British medical journal, The Lancet, 1987. Lastly, Ginkgo extracts have demonstrated usefulness in the treatment of male arterial erectile dysfunction, directly causing sure increases in flow of blood in both arteries and veins, without any threatening change in blood pressure. After 6 months of treatment, 95% demonstrated improvement, 50% tested regained potency. Also used as a Homeopathic or used simply as a micro-nutritional for hypertension and problems with blood circulation.
